By having witnessed the substantial benefits of this program and its important part in addressing unmet needs in our community, we are very hopeful that this high-impact program can be sustained in Duplin County, particularly in the aftermath of this pandemic when medical needs and the nutritional, oral, behavioral health of students and staff will undoubtedly undergo additional stress.
- Tracey Simmons-Kornegay, PharmD, Duplin County Health Director
